Introduction to xdg-desktop-portal-gnome

xdg-desktop-portal-gnome is a backend for xdg-desktop-portal which uses GTK and various pieces of GNOME infrastructure.

Nautilus-50.2.2 (for the File Chooser portal)

Installation of xdg-desktop-portal-gnome

Install xdg-desktop-portal-gnome by running the following commands: 

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

meson setup --prefix=/usr --buildtype=release .. &&
ninja

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user: 

ninja install

注意

If you installed the package to your system using a “DESTDIR” method, /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/gschemas.compiled was not updated/created. Create (or update) the file using the following command as the root user: 

glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas
